Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Enjoy these
Limericks
inspired by two of Ireland’s State symbols, the shamrock and the Celtic harp, plus love and Spring for good measure!.
A shamrock so lovely and fair
I tuck in the locks of my hair.
It shines in the sun,
And two hearts are one
As loving and living we share.
The harp plays a music divine,
Entwining our hearts, yours and mine.
A melody rings;
Together we sing
In love so much sweeter than wine.
Is envy the color of green?
Perhaps, but there’s more to be seen.
A blessing so pure
When love is reborn
Anew by the dew of the Spring!
